This morning as I Iook in to the mirror, something clicks in me. I pick up a scissors and after a few minutes of snippety-snip, i'm feeling much lighter in the head 
Well not bad, for the first time, except i'm not able to reach the back of my head. I call out to Lukas for help. He's totally surprised with my new look, but appreciates my bold decision and quickly cuts the hair at the back to the required length!
I turn my head from side to side, the lightness and the freedom that the absence of a few locks of hair can impart is amazing...
I love my short hair .. it's so liberating, i'm wondering why i didn't do it earlier...

People are urged to stay at home, go out only to buy food or for doctor’s appointments.

The Federal Council declares an ‘extraordinary situation’.
All shops, restaurants, bars and entertainment and leisure facilities will remain closed throughout Switzerland until at least 19 April. This also applies to schools.
Only health and other essential facilities such as food stores and pharmacies will remain open.
How does it affect us? Not much really - Living in our Retreat here, we hardly come in contact with people...
But one needs food to live (can't just live off Sunshine and Air yet 
), so we still have to drive to grocery stores once in a while...

The Sun is shining brightly over clear Deep Blue Skies -- a few whiffs of clouds around, but thankfully not a single plane on the Horizon.
The lake waters are also calm and blue -- there are no ripples and waves, thanks largely to the absence of boats.
And to bask in this glorious sunshine, i make an exception and walk along the road today. The woods will still be around tomorrow, but today i want to drench in the warmth of the Sun, feast my eyes on the placid waters of the lake and the green meadows all around...
